Meet Your Neighbors – Richard S.

Richard Scheer, a New York native and alumnus of Arathmus High School, hails from a small Jewish community in Brooklyn. Accepted into Harvard, he became captain of the baseball team before earning his law degree from the University of Michigan. Throughout his career in insurance law, Richard remained active in the Harvard community, recruiting students from New York City. In his later years, he developed a passion for tennis and continues to lead an active lifestyle. He was introduced to the LiLY men’s group by Frank Whittle, LiLY friend and security guard at the West Side Market.
