Jennifer Beisser

Jennifer Beisser joins LiLY’s board after five years as a volunteer. She is the current Executive Director of the Morningside Area Alliance, a 70-year old membership association of the nation’s leading academic and religious centers. In this role, she cultivates cross-institutional partnerships and helps members engage the community in their work. Prior to this role, she founded an innovative company, Chefs Line, in which she leveraged technology, media, and celebrities to coach thousands of novice home-cooks. Her work in connecting emerging technology with public education has been featured in media outlets including Crains New York, CBS News, and the Wall Street Journal. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in community-based nonprofit programming in New York City focusing on volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and neighborhood marketing. With a Masters degree in city planning, Ms. Beisser is known for her unique, multi-disciplinary approach to strengthening organizations and furthering their missions.
