Paula Seefeldt

December 15, 2023

LiLY’s board of directors is thrilled to announce that Paula Seefeldt will assume the role of Executive Director of LiLY. Paula has served as a staff member of LiLY for ten years, most recently as Program Director. Early in her career, Paula worked with teens and families in schools and recovery centers, with a focus on mental health. She holds a Masters in Social Work and is a writer and presenter on topics including “Shame in Aging.” Since her time with LiLY, Paula has been an agile and strong advocate for community elders. She is well-known for her ability to navigate family and other sensitive matters, to uncover and connect elders with needed resources to improve daily life, to maintain a holistic approach to caregiving, and to cultivate life-affirming relationships between volunteers and elders along with community physicians, business owners, property managers, and stakeholders. As executive director, Paula will bring her passion for mental health solutions to LiLY’s unique model of community care. Like LiLY’s founder, Irene Zola, Paula believes that elders who age-in-place are vital community members and that a continuum of care can be organized at the neighborhood level.
