Visit Morningside Park

Nestled between Central Park and Riverside Park is the 30 acre gem that is Morningside Park. Long overlooked, it is now a thriving oasis that is particularly beautiful at this time of year. This small park has picnic benches, chess tables, a pond, a dog run, and exercise equipment for children and adults. There are regular art exhibits and currently on display is the Harlem Sculpture Garden. If you would like to visit the park, it is most accessible to enter from 123rd Street or on the east side from Morningside Avenue. If you enter from Morningside Drive, there is a steep set of stairs and a smaller staircase from the 110th Street entrance.
